After much speculation over whether Victoria Beckham would join the rest of the girls, she did attend the photocall this morning alongside Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton at the St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel to unveil the show which is based on their music.
Mel B wore a fitted slate grey Lanvin dress – as seen on Jennifer Lopez – with gold Christian Louboutin spiked ‘Pigalles’.
Melanie Chisholm looked stunning wearing an Acne ‘Barika’ white sleeveless maxi dress with tumbling curls.
Geri came as Baby Spice, donning a cutesy lace mini dress. Emma kept it simple wearing a navy-blue long-sleeve mini, but added a gorgeous pair of printed blue-and-white peep-toes.
Victoria wasn’t giving up her signature pose for anyone, wearing a dress from her Fall 2012 collection.

Blake Lively As The Face Of Gucci’s New Fragrance: Gucci Première
Blake Lively stated, “It is a pleasure to collaborate with Frida Giannini. I admire the qualities of the Gucci Première woman and feel honored to represent the fragrance.”
The print campaign for the new fragrance was shot by Mert & Marcus, and the commercial film was directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. The short film will be presented at a special event during the Venice Film Festival on September 1st, 2012.

Hedi Slimane Changing Yves Saint Laurent's Name

Hedi Slimane is already making big changes at Yves Saint Laurent—and he’s not even shown a collection yet. The brand’s new creative director has been designing in Los Angeles rather than at YSL’s Paris headquarters, and now WWD confirms that he plans to change the fashion house’s name.
Under Slimane, Yves Saint Laurent will become Saint Laurent Paris, with the new branding introduced in coming months. The iconic YSL logo, however, will not disappear.
Slimane, who was given “total creative responsibility for the brand image and all its collections,” WWD reports, is looking to recapture the impulses that inspired the house’s founder to launch the Saint Laurent Rive Gauche ready-to-wear line in 1966—among them youth, freedom and modernity. As such, Slimane plans to use the same fonts and a similar name to that era, a YSL spokesperson confirmed.

Fashion’s current it-girl landed a Vogue cover – especially since she’s currently promoting ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’.
Emma was shot by Mario Testino wearing a Nina Ricci dress on the cover.

On realising what fashion actually meant:
